Are you looking to make your own shoe? The original Spanish espadrille sole is a great eco-friendly option, no need for glue or animal products. All you need is a pair of soles, a needle, 5 meters of thread and some canvas.One of the great things about making espadrilles is that even if you are not very experienced, if you make a mistake, you can unstitch and start over as many times as you want. This is not the case when making other types of shoes due to the common use of glue, a messy process where you only get one chance to get it right.
Specifications about this sole: Designed by the Spanish militery in the 1920's, this extremely durable espadrille sole is made with a thin layer of rope stitched to a recycled pneumatic rubber base. If you are looking for a long lasting sole, this is it!
Finding the right size: Our soles are true to European size. If you want to make 100% sure you are getting the right size, measure the exact lenght of your foot and add roghly 1cm (0.4") to find the correct sole lenght you need.
